Mennonite Youth Fellowship (MYF)
At Zion Mennonite Church, we have made our youth, the future of the church, a high priority. Activities, service and spiritual input are all a part of how we work to educate, equip and effectively encounter God with our youth. Our Zion Mennonite Youth Fellowship (MYF) is for all high school age youth. Mentoring Program Mentoring Program for our youth provides a way for youth to be connected with an adult mentor. This adult person's role is to be friend and spiritual guide to a specific middle school or high school student. Regular Events • Junior High meets 1st and 3rd Sunday evenings during school year at 6:00 pm • Youth Sunday School on Sundays from 9:30 to 10:30 am • Youth Sunday Evening meeting starting at 6:00 pm Jr. High Jr. High Group, grades 6-8, encourages active involvement in congregational activities, development of faith, and service to others. It offers fun events and meets at times chosen by the youth, their parents and leaders. Youth Group Youth Group is for grades 9-12 and provides opportunities for service in the church and the community. If offers Sunday night fellowship, worship and devotions and participates in youth conferences and workcamps. Summer Service Projects/ Youth Convention Mission We exist to help young people start, develop and grow into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Youth Pastor |
